Latif wasn’t from HalfNorm but moved there because of his father's struggling affairs and his found inspiration. Even though he has been living in HalfNorm for a few years, the oddities of the society still shock him to investigate; no matter how much evidence he finds, he never finds “answers”. The suspicion of the society left him to rely on old telephones, and avoiding all monitors from electronics sometimes.

Seen as weird for his absurd theories about... everything, he is disliked by others but not straight up hated for this thought process. He isn’t social to strangers but when he gets comfortable with people he’ll start rambling about his interest; that can be annoying or pleasing depending on who you are.
